As your body heals, you should get plenty of rest for your body to heal from the surgical incisions. Find a quiet room with comfortable bed and pillows to suit you.

Reading a novel or a magazine may help you pass time. Taking plenty of water and healthy food may also assist you to heal quickly.

Before going for surgery, make sure you stock healthy and easy to cook foods to give your body strength and energy during the recovery process.

Return to work

You will be able to return to work the second week after surgery. Since the wounds would not have completely healed, you will be required to purchase bras that will not disturb the healing wounds.

You have to set out some budget to buy bras that are comfortable. Avoid using bras with underwire as they may interfere with healing. After two months, your swelling would have completely reduced and the incision healed.

Breast augmentation scars take a longer time to disappear, however as the months’ go by they will continue to become less noticeable. Usually, it takes around 15 months for the scars to take their final appearance.
