Dr. Njoroge is a board-certified consultant orthopedic and arthroplasty surgeon at Kenyatta National Hospital. He specializes in knee and hip replacements, bone infections, limb reconstruction, and complex limb deformity correction.
He did his post-graduate training at the University of Nairobi and attended his fellowship in Orthopaedics at The Pretoria Academic Hospital (now The Steve Biko Academic Hospital).
The fellowship training led to him obtaining membership at the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa and qualification of Fellow of The College of Surgeons of East Central and Southern Africa in Orthopaedics – FCS (Ortho) ECSA.
Aside from his practice, Dr. Njoroge is an honorary lecturer at the University of Nairobi, Department of Orthopaedics. He is also actively involved in training orthopedic surgeons in trauma (AO faculty) regionally, nationally, and internationally.
Moreover, he also offers training in Arthroplasty at the Nairobi Surgical Skills Centre (NSSC), an internationally accredited training centre.
Dr. Njoroge’s passion is providing improved and innovative orthopedic care, and training surgeons, patients, and the public in orthopedic-related health issues. Outside work, he enjoys traveling as he loves nature, wildlife, and water.
