Renowned Florida based plastic surgeon Dr. Leonard Hochstein sues her two patients for allegedly writing negative reviews about him and his practice online.
He claims that, their inaccurate negative reviews have damaged his reputation.
The two patients Nicole George and Kristen LaPointe wrote reviews on Yelp reviews website that did not please Dr. Leonard.
According to Nicole George who reside at Fort Myers, Dr. Hochstein performed a botched surgery on her that left her with disfigured scarring and different breast sizes.
This took place in May 2018 after she had gone for a “mommy makeover,” that included liposuction, tummy tuck, breast lift and breast augmentation.
The two women had signed an agreement before the surgery procedures that prevented them from leaving any negative comments anywhere online.
However, according to George, she was not handled in the best manner.
” I saved money for three years for me to have a mommy makeover” Said George.
And it’s because of positive reviews that made her choose the Real Housewives of Miami TV series star Dr. Leonard who has been nicknamed as the “Boob God”.
” I don’t know whether the reviews are authentic and should be trusted” Said George.
On the other hand, LaPointe wrote that Dr. Leonard used big breast implants than what she had requested for.
“I went in for a breast augmentation. I was very unhappy with the results. The implant put in wasn’t even the size I requested, he put in 55cc over what I wanted. I had made this very clear that I didn’t want to go over that size. I also have horrible scarring.”
Said Kristen LaPointe in her Yelp Review
Dr. Hochstein however said, he had no choice but to sue them. This is because the information they wrote was fake and was not true.
I have never sued anyone in my entire career path, the information they wrote is not true” Said Dr. Leonard.
“My reputation is the most important thing to me, all those who have come to me do so because of good reputation” giving false information of things that dint happen is wrong. He added.
The two patients have not removed the reviews yet saying they want other people to see them because what they are saying is the truth.
According to Consumer Review Fairness Act passed 2016, it is illegal to punish or threaten legal action against someone for giving an honest pinion.
